FlightOps is a privately developed flight-planning and itinerary-management application, used for personal organization and by authorized collaborators. It is not offered as a commercial software service.
What information the application handles
Depending on how it is used, FlightOps may handle flight schedules, airport and itinerary details, crew or passenger information, travel arrangements, contact details, and itinerary documents. Only enter information you are authorized to use.
Google Drive and access
FlightOps uses Google sign-in authorization to access Google Drive data needed for its flight-planning functionality when an authorized user connects their account. Depending on permissions granted, the application may read and update its encrypted FlightOps vault and save generated itinerary files in the designated Drive folders. Google account access is subject to Google's own terms and privacy practices.
Security and storage
The FlightOps vault is encrypted and access is restricted to authorized users. The application may retain encrypted local data or limited device settings to support normal operation. No security method guarantees absolute protection, so access should be granted only to trusted users.
Third-party services
Depending on which features are used, the application may communicate with Google Drive and with services supporting airport, weather, time-zone or travel information. Hosting infrastructure may also process standard website-access information. Relevant providers handle information according to their own policies.
Sharing and monetization
FlightOps is not sold or offered for advertising-based monetization. Information is shared only as necessary for functions that the authorized user chooses, such as Google Drive synchronization, itinerary generation or travel information lookups.
Access and removal
Authorized users can stop accessing FlightOps, revoke the application's Google authorization through their Google Account, and request assistance regarding FlightOps files or shared access. Removing local app data does not automatically delete copies saved in Google Drive.
